I am hopeful that the huge bi-plane rear wing will be active (switchable settings for high downforce and low drag). A low drag setting will save several seconds on Döttinger Höhe alone (and high downforce in many of the corners). This is how you beat the GT2RS MR lap time with over 150hp less power and 200 ft-lbs less torque.
The tricky part will be the transitions between these settings. How quickly can it change from one to the other and how sophisticated are the computers that decide when each is suitable...

If you don't look at the ginormous picknick table, but concentrate on the front, I am very hopeful. The took the pig's nose vents from the front of the bonnet and moved them backwards (and increased them in size), which shifts the optical balance back by a lot, making the front look much, much better than the standard GT3s imo. This one could be a poster car again!

Interesting array of strakes or vortex generates on the front floor of the 992 GT3RS. Either Porsche is using the devices to emulate other aerodynamic devices for the production version or they are planning on incorporate some advanced air flow management technology to the new car.

You can see the hubs have the hardware for the centerlocks (as well as 5-bolt), so it just gives flexibility in prototype stage. If they were going to get rid of centerlocks, surely it would have happened for non-RS first...

Thanks,I was here around...but Corona change a few our life and i was trying to find to adapt to the situation
Now i'm at a good point and start to think again to cars...
Hope the RS will look similar to the 992Cup,really is the first Cup that i like also outside,saw the race at Sebring and looks great in comparison with the 991 Cup that seems high and thin,while the 992 Cup is low,wide and fat!
