If one Googles "Kamm-Back", you can find all sorts of cool throw-backs to the Prius, including some AMC as well as Pininfarina products from the '70s.

i might we are mixing car aredynamics with general one terms;
about the raindrop, when it is falling it is modeled by the wing for the best shape, curved at front, lengthened and dropped off till end in a thin tail; this form is usually used for blaldes of windmills, wings of planes, etc;
in cars these are right, but with differences cause work with different conditions; different shape of above and below,different blow, nor regular forms and the effects looked for are not the same, beneficts for run on road and solve the problems of the shape, etc....not the same for a blade, for example;
i don't remember,several facts influence this that i can't analyze now, i've studied something about and deeper soon;
about prius, i've seen the cx it is the same or near than the 911 one with wider body, tyres, etc.., in addition has less front surface, height........i think less rear turbulences too; i'll investigate the rear drag and lift you say, it is possible, the spoiler is quite horizontal, but depend of the model, if it would has negative axel and well exposed to blow, it will has drag sure.
