Fanch, I track my car at least 3/4 times a month!
Monza is around the corner for me and we have another 5 good track (Imola, Mugello, Misano, Varano, Adria) within 3 hours driving. Now I bought a Suv to trail the GT3 when I will go on tracks like the Nurburgring or Spa Francorchamps or Magny Cours.
Tyres like PZero Corsa can be used for 2000/3000Km of track...a little less with the Pilot Sport Cup that offers much more grip but can't be used with the rain.
PZero Corsa System are a lot more "long-lasting"...with my first set I did more than 10000Km with a mix of street and track driving!
To answer yoor question...Yes, it's a pain, but it's worth the price in term of satisfaction and driving pleasure!

Thanks for the info regarding tires.
I can't understand why you have bought such heavy wheels having in mind the time you spend on circuit with your car.
There are many light weight wheels on the market, you're the kind of driver who really seem to be focus in this kind of weight conserns.

I bought those wheels from a friend of mine who sold his GT3...It was a really good deal in terms of money! However I don't think that a NON professional driver like me, can find any driving difference or any track time gap between stocks and techart!

Luigi lives now in London...he is very busy with his new job and he didn't have too much free time!
He still have the Rs! Hope that you will be able to join us at the Nordschleife this summer!

I know quite well the track where the pictures were taken...the second one in the "Prima Variante", the most stupid chicane in the world!
@Tee: I bought the RS rear wing at my local Porsche dealer, I had a big discount on it...but after one week I judged too much the contrast between the color of the car and the look of the wing so I put the original!
