    What an amazing trip

    That should give us an ideia of what the European Rennteam meeting should be
    RC, any chance of having a trip like this with visits thowards Porsche tuners?????? I'm

    What a meet up! Look at all those amazing Porsche's anc Rufs!!!!!! I wish something like that could come over here to North america....

    I'm not convinced that the black one is really a GT2... looks to different for me!

    I visited RUF in 2000 and created quite a "stirr" over there because I showed up in my new 996 Turbo, one of the first cars delivered to customers in Bavaria.
    There were a lot of people, mostly Americans who lived and worked in Germany. Some of them had some pretty spectacular 993 Turbo models tuned to the max. Others came in classic Porsche models. Alois Ruf was a perfect host (as always) and he even showed us his Maserati dealership.

    Unfortunately it seems he got mad at me because I didn't write a PERFECT review about his 996 Turbo protoype around three or four years ago (I don't remember anymore) and I lost contact to him. He is a very nice guy but after the spectacular 993 Turbo models, he doesn't really impress me with anything he presented over the past few years.

    If he monitors this forum, I'm willing to accept a Rennteam.com meeting at RUF around spring or summer but I'm not THAT impressed by Tuners lately, especially since I have not so satisfying experiences with a few of them (not RUF!).

    I try to post pictures from that 2000 RUF meeting, I still have them somewhere.

    Did you get the chance to drive his 9996 Turbo?
    The tuner problems you are refering are coming from the experiene you had with RS Tuning?
