    order to complete in 9 days???

    This can't be accurate... I ordered my 987s on 1/17 (MFGCNF). Dealer just told me that PCNA has it listed as complete production on 1/26 (CMPPRD). Can this be? Dealer said the real proof will be if it moves to "checkpoint 8" - which signifies complete and ready to ship.

    I'm not familiar with Porsche productio process, but if it is, like is great, better this way than the other way round no? Although you're right, it does seem very short!

    Perhaps there was a car with your exact spec going spare??? Seems very short turn around time! But you cant argue really, better than waiting the 7 months Ive had to for mine!!!!!!

    At this point I've prepared myself for the likelihood that someone fat fingered a number in the PCNA system - and I'm going to get a call that brings me back to reality.

    yours must have been very similar to the spec, or it must have been something that had already been ordered, otherwise it would not have happened that fast.

    Ok, so I'm back to reality again... PCNA was apparently incorrect. The car is now scheduled to be built on 2/28.

    Which month did they tell you that you car would be in production? Just curious if they are ahead, behind, or right on schedule?

    I was told it was going to be a March build - so a little ahead.

    My 987 "S" was officially Feb 05 build, but was completed on or about 14th Jan. Other UK Boxsters for March delivery also seem to be about 1 month ahead.

    Sounds like i need to call my dealer and find out the status of my car. It was slated for february production. Dealer didn't tell me when in february though.

    they may have moved the production schedule ahead, need to confirm this.
