Topspeed:
GT4 PDK
Be aware that with the PDK version the 718 GT4/Spyder/GTS 4.0 that it adds 68 pounds (31 kg) of weight behind the rear axle (for those mid-engine people who want the mass inside the wheelbase)...
This is a much bigger weight penalty than in the GT3 (35 pounds or 16 kg) in front of the rear axle, since the Manual in the 718 is lighter than the one in the GT3 that shares its outer case with the PDK.
This is why after launch (PDK is better at launching) the Manual is slightly faster than PDK in a straight line (and track times should not favor the PDK much if at all on many tracks). I've seen a couple lap time comparisons and it's very close with the Manual actually being slightly faster at Hockenheim.
Porsche was worried about this result, so they gave the PDK version a little more torque than the Manual. But, I think they were a little too stingy - more power was needed to really even the field (but they wanted to make a bigger hp gap to the GT4 RS that is coming).
