in my experience, there arent that many people who mod their 360's sound system.
probably because the tubi exhuast is such a better mod
the 360s that you DO see with improved soundsystems, are usually ones that someone really 'butchered' the car, as you aptly put.
on 6speedonline there have been numerous posts of 360's with sound systems, and they all involved destroying the beautiful interior.
get a tubi exhuast, and if that doesnt do it for you, get straight pipes.
i love the 360 sound, i drive my friend's all the time
not as F1 high pitch as the 355, but still one of the best.

I installed a $5000 system in my 2001 Spider. Without a doubt, the biggest waste of $5000 I ever spent. The system was terrific but the need was nil. I never order any Ferrari with an upgraded stereo system. The exhaust is the music especially depending on year and model if you have Tubi.

guys i know that the exhaust sound is the most thrilling part of the whole ferrari experience,surely not its reliability or the service , but i drive my car everyday,and sometimes you feel like listening to music ,specially when u r stuck in a traffic jam

dhayek, I'm absolutely with you. The standard speakers are not as good as they should be, while the optional so called "HiFi" System has a nasty box between the seats.
There should be an easy possibility, to change the standard speakers against some of higher sound quality.
Any suggestions?

There are a couple of brands that fit perfectly into the existing space for speakers. Both high end and cost less than a $1000. However you also need to replace the Becker receiver. You could get a pretty good system installed for less than $2000 without tearing up the interior of the car. Better yet take your 997 to work.
