They actually have been a mess all season.
Pitstop fuck ups, strategy blunders, you named it, they have done it.
Red Bull have been pretty much running a picture perfect campaign so far, together with the fastest car and one of the best drivers in Max, they deserves to win the championship.

Hey, what an exciting Sprint race.
Hamilton got the crowd going with his display of superb skills, going from dead last to 5th.
It's amazing how he got around the DRS train by figuring out how to take the last corner differently than the others and gaining extra momentum and speed to pass the other cars. That's called experience and skill.
Yes he has a fresh engine to help, but he was stuck behind the DRS train of two other Mercedes engine cars for a while, if he doesn't figure out a way he would have finished behind all of them.
Sainz had an amazing drive, keeping the faster Perez behind him basically for the whole race. Give him a faster car and he can fight up front too.
Max didn't win, but he gets to start on the inside line, he might actually preferred that as he will have track position going into turn 1.
Bottas for sone reason woke up on the right side of the bed this morning and performed well. Great drive for him to keep Max behind him the whole race.
This is the sort of Sprint race FIA had in mind when they proposed such a thing. Same with reverse grid. Hamilton was what? 3 seconds off 3rd place at the end? Give him another 4-5 laps he would probably get it.
Good clean racing by everyone today at the Sprint.

he isn't 'clearly' better.
His advantage is his experience. Skill wise, he should be in a pack with Max, Norris, Leclerc, Russell and perhaps even Sainz and Gasly. Hamilton is on a declining curve, he is in his twilight of his career like Alonso, Kimi and Vettel while the others are on the up, and will only get better with more seasoning gaining experience.

It‘s so ridiculous that Lewis got disqualified by the stewards for ,2mm as he didn‘t have any advantage but rather an disadvantage.
Why didn‘t they gave the team a penalty like no points to score for the constructor championship in sprint race as it was their fault, not from Lewis!
Obviously „somebody“ really wants the flying dutchman to become new WC.
But let‘s wait what‘s gonna happen in the race, karma is a b*tch, so hopefully sundy is „revenge day“ for LH44

A rule is a rule, that's technical regulation, and it's rigid. Even 0.1mm over is breaking the rule and the penalty is DQ. It's a black and white infraction.

It‘s so obvious that they/ F1 management wants the dutch prick as champion this year. *sorry for my bad french but it‘s getting ridiculous again*
First they take away Lewis pole for 0,2mm (I know rules are rules but everybody knew it was just a loose screw which caused this) and then the weirdo from the Netherlands pushed Lewis with intention of the track, waved on the straights and still there‘s no penalty for him.
Same situation in Monza when he crashed with intention into LH44 as he knew that he‘ll win the race so he took him out and nothing happened.
This season Lewis IS clearly the best Lewis every, he MUST become WC this season as he‘s deserving it big time

So CGT Car Nut is right, Brazilian GP isn't just a procession but an exciting race.!!
The storyline was set when Hamilton was put to the back of the grid when his wing failed inspection.
He won this race when he figured out how to take turn 12 differently than every other driver. and gaining extra momentum and speed all the way up the hill for the main straight to maximize his speed advantage on his new engine. How he set up Max was textbook race craft. He gave Max the threat of passing him on the main straight, putting Max out of position for turn 2 and 3 to compromise him for the next DRS straight.
Gaining 15 places at Sprint then another 10 in the actual race to win is superb to watch.
This is why Hamilton is not only the winningest driver, he is also the class act for F1. Didn't complaint, whine, just put his head down and deal with it. This race is like a summary of his career. Grabbing the Brazilian flag for the cool down lap is wonderful to see. And the Brazilian fans loves him just like how they loved Senna.
Max Max Max. Just when we thought he grew up he did his Max thing again. Driving people off track, and also still weaving on straights. FIA finally had enough of his behaviour and gave him a black and white flag.
Max had a dream start, got past Bottas on the inside as expected. He could have gone off in the sunset but it would seems the strategy of trying to pull Perez with him backfired. it wasn't meant to be for them to finish 1-2.

And now you‘re still thinking that anyother in the field can match Lewis driving abilities? I doubt it, he showed his masterclass and how much supreme he‘s especially compared to Max!
Lewis never did unfair moves in his whole career and Max… 🙄

During the race the on screen graphics puts it at ~20km/hr, not 30km/hr as Horner claimed. The 20km/hr difference is also mentioned numerous times during the broadcast.
Hamilton started off with a stronger engine than everyone in the field, on top he took a different line out of turn 12 so he started his acceleration run earlier than everyone else also.
Mercedes cars had always had the higher top speed as they have a low drag car. The Honda engine upgrade gave Red Bull a power boost, not enough to take the top speed crown, as they have a higher drag car for more downforce, but is enough to stay ahead of Mercedes before end of straights on most circuits. Catching and passing is two different thing.
But here in Brazil Hamilton was able to get on the throttle earlier than Max, and the speed advantage just magnifies towards the end of the straight.

That's just from experience. instead of following everyone and doing the same line and stuck in a DRS train, he was clever enough to experiment and find a different result.
Max was leading most of the race, he would have no chance to see how Hamilton drives. and by the time he sees it was too late for him to do the same thing and catch.
You bet next year Max, and just about every other driver will review films of rivals and gain an advantage somewhere.
Also weird that everyone else didn't review the Sprint footage and see how Hamilton did it, they just all chalked up to a stronger engine.
I favour Hamilton over Max, it's not a secret. But I am not a blind fanboy, I critic where warranted, be it Max Lewis or Yuki or whatever.

I‘m a huge fan of Lewis as he was since day one he arrived @formula 1 a great driver to watch.
CL, LN, GR are great promises for the future but MV is IMHO not that good as many people claimed over the years.
Look at Dany Ricciardo, he could easily keep up with him whilst the quick
Aussie had many more issues to level Carlos Sainz and especially Lando.
This year Lewis & Merc are really having a hard time with F1 management as their judgement of penalties varies a lot.
BTW Merc was much fast in sector 1 & 3 but sector 2 was always (already in the past) RedBull territory, which is based due to the car design of each manufacturer.
therefore no surprise that Lewis could easily overtake Max (as long as he didn’t drive him off track or waving on the straights)

Couldn't watch the race today unfortunately. Great race apparently, tough track too, must be weird for the drivers to do anti-clockwise laps...
But with double points in Abu Dhabi (if I am not mistaken) it is most likely that the fight for the championship will end up there. Oh and I hope that the track in Saoudi Arabia is almost finish, very excited about this, even though Tilke's design is almost always the same... very refreshing to see some footage of Interlagos today!

May I refer you to this clip.
There is no doubt about Max's ability. Not many on the grid can save that slide.
But Max for some reason doesn't trust his own ability and always falls back to driving dirty.
