rhino:Seems like a wonderful little car and these upgrades make it even better. What a shame this is not available in the states Thanks for posting
The US market is to receive a Corolla Hatchback with the same motor and some suspension and body modifications. It will be front wheel drive only. So in other words, a Toyota version of a Volkswagen GTI. The shame.

FWD? Are you kidding me? Are you sure there won't be two versions (FWD like GTI and AWD like Golf R)?

CGX car nut:Reports are FWD only. That’s disappointing as the GTI would remain the preferred choice. Even the Golf R is getting more lively with a rear drive bias.
Now it sounds like the Corolla Wagon or 4-Door Hatch is coming to USA with GR Yaris engine, 6spd Manual, and AWD system:

I guess we just need to wait until Toyota decides what it wants to produce for the US market. Too big of a platform and it destroys the very essence of the Yaris GR concept.

Yeah but the coffee is getting blood pressure from him. that's the superpower way
I have low blood pressure, I drink around 3 to 5 coffees a day and at least 2 litres of Coke Zero, also around two liters of sweetened (aspartame) black tea and my blood pressure is barely staying at 120/80. Sometimes, in the evening, the blood pressure drops to 90/70 again and I feel miserable but caffeine keeps me OK.
Funny enough, I sleep like a baby...must be the caffeine.

2 litres of Coke Zero , you kidding us right . 2 litres of black tea too. Plus your, lets call it, 4 coffees, another litre. Approx 5 litres a day. I have never measured my fluid intake, must do it .
Fizzy stuff would make me feel sicky. I cant stomach any soda, just tea and water, no alcohol at all

Not kidding. Also, I do not drink alcohol, not even beer or wine, I think I mentioned this before.
Low blood pressure was always an issue for me but it isn't really a medical condition, more of a comfort condition. You cannot imagine how bad someone with low blood pressure feels sometimes, it is really bad. This is why I have this high caffeine input, it helps.

Had mine a couple of months now. Although lockdown has kept the miles down its being used a lot more than my 911. There's a lovely mechanical feel to the car, good brakes and spot on gear ratios. It suits the roads around me perfectly. Toyota deserve the plaudits for producing such an affordable and special car. Lead times in the UK now run to May 2022!

Looks great.
And a great example of a reasonable price car that can still deliver
Congrats
