Looks like it slid from the right to the left. Hitting the curbs with left wheels first, damaging the rims, then sliding further with the rear, where the right rear wheel gets broken when it bumps into the curb... ouch... looks really expensive... and look at the broken brake disc... Another sad day. How come I have seen so few enzo's crashed? I'd preferd that!

i dunno about that. i've already had mine oversteer (at decent speeds) and found it to be quite controllable. that said, it doesn't "seem" as progressive as a 911 for sure. the stradale is like the cgt as well so i'm figuring it's a mid engined/r compound on stradale - outer 1/3 r compound on cgt deal. much of the "problem" (if you want to consider it that) is that the limits are so very high on this car that when they are exceeded, things are moving pretty quickly. however, that wrecked black one looks more like someone had the TC turned off and was hammering it while turning to force oversteer or underestimated power on hand while hammering the throttle but not trying to force the oversteer. the car looks to have a dealer plate on it along with a ferrari of scottsdale plate frame which probably says all you need to know. this is probably more similar to the salesman joy ridden (crashed) ford gt in the back of autoweek not too long ago.

Ben I absolutely agree with you theory. Whereas the Ferrari CS may be easily provoked into oversteer, the CGT prone to do the same gets harder to handle when you have 612hp at your disposal. Lightning reactions and expert driving knowledge should set you right.

The power of this car is awesome. It requires constant diligence. A very serious car which a few talented owners can fully appreciate. The rest will end up like this if they try to go beyond their abilities. Driver aids will not bail them out.

Track driving (hell even autocrossing with cones in a parking lot) voids the warranty in the US. So I won't ever be able to comment if the car is on the track. That said, I've experienced (enjoyed) lots of oversteer already.
