About the spider Ferrari. There were two convertible V12 , called 550 Barchetta and a 575 Superamerica , both in limited numbers.

This is one we could debate for quite a while. I didn't consider either the 550 Barchetta or the 575 Superamerica as Ferrari doesn't classify them as Spiders. The 550 Barchetta is more speedster than spider as it doesn't have any sort of useable/practical roof (and the chassis is far to flexible). The Superamerica comes closer but the glass hinged roof panel is a bit of a disaster as it cracks and is good for collecting rain that then gets dumped on the occupants when the roof is closed.
Gnil:I agree they are bad as not thought from scratch but more like add one later to satisfy some demanding customers. But none less open top V12.
Theres also the SA Aperta. I would classify all three as quickly engineered Ferrari cash grabs.
