    Oh BTW, I would not mess with duct tape. Im sure the sticky residue will be a major pain in the ass to remove espcially if you have the top off and the sun gets to it. How about some masking tape?



    hey ryan. it is an owners bring their own car show like the one every saturday morning in newport. bring your dad's 911 at 7:00 AM on the 29th to the carlsbad outlet mall off palomar airport road and ? (the first street east of the 5).



    Sounds good, that shopping center is practically my back yard, it would be a pity if I missed this show. I hope people dont look at me funny drooling behind my digi cam. I look forward to meeting any members from here, what time is the CGT going to arive?

    Looks like my dads gonig to let me barrow the car if its not raining that day. I'll probably be wearing my blue hat...not like I wouldn't be able to find you. Im guessing that your going to have the only CGT there, Im just worried about running out of space on my camera

    My dealer is great. They've come up with a temporary solution with some outside of the box thinking and the new box will arrive next week. So, kudos to both my dealer for the temp solution and Porsche for the prompt permanent one!

    That's great news, Ben!

    Any idea what caused the failure? Since the only 12v receptical is in the glove box, I want to be sure before I slam the glovebox door shut on the V1 cord

    (I'm just planning ahead -- my car shows ONVESL now)

    Congrats on your car being ONVESL!!!

    There are two plastic rods that come out of each side of the box and into two holes in the bracket. The end broke off one of the two rods which can't be caused by slamming it or having it full of junk. It's just a weak part I think.
