    Saw at Philly Auto Show

    We saw the Cayenne S and Turbo at auto show. We were all very disapointed in looks, will wait for test drive before asking for deposit to be returned - but VW is starting to look like the way to go.

    I was thinking about making the 2-hour drive to Philly ... was there anything else worthwhile at the auto show? Wash, DC's auto show occurred in late December and there was absolutely nothing interesting there.

    They had a good collection of classic cars, but a vast improvement over DC. The most intresting thing was the Pacifica from D-C. No twlling how unreliable, but in concept and looks it beat Cayenne.

    I saw the Cayenne at the Detroit Show, and actually was quite impressed. Maybe you should wait a while to see if it grows on you--it sure grew better in my estimation. Pretty clean look amid some overall trendy designs, in my view.
