Sorry, rubbish photos I know, but was mostly chatting with the guy. Lots of interior carbon details, lightweight stuff. Looks really nicely finished inside. RS-style carbon door cards with fabric pulls, etc.
I took my helmet to see how clearance was.. the new sports seats are very nice - supportive and comfortable. I had just about enough headroom. About 1cm above my head with a helmet on. I am 183cm.
Has a little titanium cage with 4-point harnesses similar to the Pista. Tried these and they seemed pretty good despite only having 4 points. You could get them fairly tight without just pulling the buckle upwards.
Front is crazy.. there is a little polystyrene box for a helmet (which just about fits). That's it! no other storage. Would only work to drive to a track with 1 person in really. Unless the 2nd person doesn't mind being buried in bags.
Some very nice optional magnesium wheels. Price unknown at the moment.
Also had some inbuilt telemetry with a couple of cameras.
It has some new brakes which the guy said were like F1. A pinch of salt with that but they did indeed look to be carbon without a ceramic coating. Wonder what the tech is there.
He started it up, sounded epic - no surprise there. Would get a lot of black flags though.
The engine cover is all carbon and lifts off. Roof scoop is for cooling only.
Very striking, big wow when he pulled the cover off. A lovely thing, but a bit out of my price range. Starts 340k CHF or so and up to 380 with options. Cheaper elsewhere no doubt.

DaveGordon:Forgot - he mentioned the roll cage was made in conjunction with Akrapovic
Now this is interesting...thanks. Akrapovic is a partner with their exhaust systems for the race cars as far as I know.

the-missile:The titanium cage in the weissach packs are also done with Akrapovic...
Makes sense...VW Group and all but I guess it is also the quality Akrapovic delivers.

Looks like they are forcing most to choose Ad Personam colours. Only 4 base colours available without extra charge.
Here is a spec I am considering using the Sian Roadster's launch colour:

Looks great, no doubt but would the very same color in matte not fit this car better?

Possibly, but I am not a huge fan of matt finishes even though the SVJ Roadster will have one .
Ah, OK. I just thought a car like the STO needs a more sporty (less elegant) color.

Very nice; however, if that video was made in the real world at the location instead of the virtual world, you would be a victim of an armed carjacking. Chicago has had well over 200 carjackings this year with many in the Near North/Downtown area, the location of the virtual scene, Wacker Drive along the main branch of the Chicago River and near the Trump Tower.

That does look good.
Is it wider than a regular Huracan?

ISUK:Great choice. That is the first example I've seen that makes the car look purposeful. It will age well in that combination, unlike the ones the factory are pushing with matt finishes and all the garish contrast colour sections.
Thanks, could not agree more. All the sticker rubbish is completely uneccassry.
