    It‘s amazing to see how safe the cars had become!!! This is one of the most horrific accidents I have ever seen in F1, really happy that Romain got out of this car. I am still shocked that he got out by himself. I hope that now no one  is complaining that HALO looks like shit. Without it we would have most probably lost him today. 

    HALO definitely saved his life. I am pretty sure he knows it by now. 
    I am so happy for his family, he has three kids. Smiley

    Romain mentioned that the battery also caught fire.  Strange indeed how the car just burst into flames. Maybe the fuel tank had a default.

    I disagree. He needs to prove that he is a good driver and that hes not only good in qualy but also during a full race.

    I think a top10 in qualifying and top 6-8 in race would be a good result.

    New car & team, can't expect poles and wins IMO.

    I think Max is the only one with something to lose, if he doesn't win this weekend it will be the greatest disappointment.

    Mercedes already know how fast Russell is, he is in their program after all. How many times did he brought the hyper-uncompetitive Williams car to Q2 where they have no business being in Q2 in the first place?

    Expectation for Russell is actually quite low, he is still the up and comer and no experience in the current car, he 'should' be finishing behind Bottas by conventional thinking. But if he can bring the Williams car back half way decent in the mid field, he should have a comfortable top 10 barring any accidents. Might even fight for a podium. 

    This would be a very cool race to with if Max crashed out and then Albon, Russell and Norris, and also Ocon all fighting for the top 3. Future stars of F1. Heck, throw in Leclerc too.

    This is exactly why Russel have nothing to lose... nobody is expecting anything special form him this weekend, but he is a very capable driver as we all have seen and he is good for a surprise IMO. Zero pressure on him, and if he manages to outqualify Bottaś... then all is possible. Yes Max and Valteri have both what to lose this weekend, as both of them MIUST win!
