power and speed might be frustrating on the Ring but perfect place to test the chassis, specially if it slippery and rainy

Enzo II:I'm considering this and the Abarth 595C to replace my daily drive. Will depend on what the lease company says about it
Drove an Abarth 595C on various occasions, no fun longterm. Be careful. Quality is also so and so. Typical Fiat.

Congrats Pentium on your purchase! Mine doesn’t come till April/May. In Australia the only ones being delivered now is the base model without the circuit pack (to be called Rallye in Australia). But you can’t even order the base car in Australia now as Toyota has closed the order book for now until they secure more cars from Japan for second half of next year. The first 1000 cars sold out in one week which Toyota expected to take 12-18 months. Toyota Australia then offered another 100 at $5k more which also sold out quickly. We like small fast cars!

They were originally going to build 25k cars to meet the homologation requirements. But Covid meant that Toyota couldn’t test this new car much so they are retaining the old car for the 21 season. There is a rule change in 2022 so they can’t use this Yaris anymore. Therefore, there is no longer a requirement to sell 25k of the GR Yaris so they may well curtail production if they lose money on them. This is just me speculating. I have no insight at all.

Last Friday they were 25 cars available for delivery online. All with the Performance Pack. Monday they were only 7 left. Red was the minority color, which incidentally makes me very happy.
Today they are only 5 left.

I am still tempted, the Yaris GR reminds me so much of my Lancia Delta HF Integrale time...when I was younger.

370 EUR monthly incl. tax, 48 months, 10k km per year, no down payment but dealer would be willing to accept 350 (not much of a difference though). Problem is: This car would be driven by me only (wife and daughter do not drive stick, son is a big question mark but this car would be too fast for a beginner anyway) and we just don't have enough room in the garage (four cars inside, one car outside). Tough decision. If this car had DCT, I would have already signed the contract.

Leave it outside. That’s where my M2 comp and the family car S4 wagon sits these days! Not every car needs to be garaged.
