    Agreed. I am still thinking about getting an Aventador or a F12 at some point in the future, used Aventador prices are already pretty low, the F12 is not much different but I am a little bit scared of maintenance cost. 👀

    The gearbox on the Aventador means that you would have to go for the F12.

    I'm afraid so but even the current Aventador S gets cheaper and cheaper (used cars), so tempting.

    My dealer offered me a SVJ Coupe for autumn delivery, at MSRP, maybe a percent or two below it, this never has happened before. Too many SVJ I'm afraid.

    On the other hand, the Urus is very successful: They sold a used car with 40k km for only 5k EUR under MSRP, unbelievable. This thing sells like crazy...

    Margins should be greater for the Urus based on its shared components within its sister brands than the margins on the Aventador which shares very little with any other vehicle in the Volkswagen Group stable.  That's why it was saddled with the ISR transmission instead of a DCT.  That transmission configuration is unique in the automotive realm.

    Yes, the Urus is unbelievably good. it's rare a car exceeds expectations but the Urus does. The Purosangue has its work cut out.

    Too many electronics for his taste. He worries about the future cars because they will follow the SF90 steps.

It's the way the car was apportioning power across the AWD system that was catching him out as he found it unpredictable.

    I wonder if Ferrari is using the same algorithm as Porsche's. Or at least similar one in car control theory.

    i.e. Power split front and back is highly dependant on steering wheel angle. 

    For those that have tried Ice-Force, they would know in a slide, couter-steering into the slide tells the car you want to save the car and it send much more power to the front to pull the car straight, in the Ferrari's case it cuts the power to reduce the slide and trying to straighten the car. Turning into the slide means telling the car you want more angle and it will send more power to the rear, keeping the wheel more or less straight tells the car everything is fine.

    That's the truth.

    One time at Ice-Force one of the guys in my group play with rally cars for fun, he was doing what he does normally, but the car's response screw him up badly, enough that he just parked the car and be done with the day. But the next day after some questions regarding the car's reaction, he got the hang of it.

    I also had the turbo so sideways, I 'knew' it was hopeless to save. But inside the car was one of the instructors and all he said was pedal to the floor and counter steer, completely opposite to my instinct, but somehow, the car saved itself with those inputs. Literally the ass of the car was leading the drift yet by just mashing the throttle the car pulled itself straight in no time, like magic. Almost physics defying.

    I have to admit that the SF90 is the first new high tech sports car which really attracts me. Like a perfect combo of a classic sportscar and a...gadget. indecision

    The Ferrari SF90 Spider (2021) does not yet have a specific price. The only thing that is certain is that it will cost more than the Stradale, which is priced at 407,355 euros (as of November 2020). Future owners can look forward not only to an exclusive place in the sun and a highly potent hybrid drive, but also to a modern cockpit. A curved 16-inch screen informs the driver of all the necessary parameters. It is operated using controls on the steering wheel.     IMO that's the best looking Ferrari in a while. The in-house design team is doing a fantastic job.

    Well behind the Monza on that account. I agree it looks a lot better than the coupe largely because some of the redundant design space at the rear it taken up by the roof mechanism and associated buttresses.

    Oh you're right the Monza! Forgot about that for a second, #1 spot still belongs to it for sure.

    I did not post there are identical. But the overall appearance especially when a Ferrari is on the opposite side of the road during toward you it’s difficult to separate the two cars. Their silhouette is very similar.
