Well, at least I heard a C class with 700(!) hp is planned, at least something.

He's not the one making these ridiculously restrictive rules, unfortunately... To me he comes across like a true petrolhead.

True but they could have managed to work around these restrictions for a bit longer. They decided not to, same as Porsche. 
Talked to my dealer last Friday (almost leased a new A45 in Denim blue, beautiful car with AMG racing shells and yellow stitching after my very impressive G63 test-drive (definitely the best sounding SUV/Off-Roader right now) and he told me that basically all V8 models have over a year(!) delivery time because everyone wants to get one before they are not built anymore.

Personally think Moer is a bit of a mixed bag, agree he is a true petrolhead which is great, but Project One is a bit of an embarrassment.
