To be honest, this is the first video of Shmee that I have been able to watch, where he comes across as a real person and not an actor in Sesame Street.
Apart from that, I appreciate the fact that in these kinds of markets, the stakes are huge. All it takes is one very decisive manager with the wrong idea that the record MUST be broken, no matter what it takes, and you're one step away from fraud. On the other hand, trying to compare data based on google maps guesstimates and edited footage with youtube's fantastic video compression... I don't know. I guess the right thing would have been to ask SSC for comments, before posting your video.
Edit; I understand that the analyzed video was a Top Gear item? That the driver did the record run, got hit by a gust of wind which almost blew him off the road and claimed he would not ever repeat the attempt? That Top Gear, being a television show, is used to make multiple takes of an item and edit the final thing together? Might be more hot air than it seems at first.
