Your wife‘s name is very unfortunate these days... 😉
I get all your points and I agree. Not the best time to show your wealth, even if it isn‘t intentionally and in the form of cars.
So far, I had only positive feedbacks here in Germany but last weekend, maybe it was just an exception or just a stupid coincidence, I parked the car near a lake and earned some angry looks from various people. Something was different, I think people here started to worry again because of the coming winter.
On the other hand, I made a little boy happy: He passed next to my car when we parked and he asked if he can look at the interior, so I told him to get into the driver‘s seat. I noticed that he is holding a small white toy car in his hand and after he got out, his father (the whole family, incl. sister and grand parents were accompanying the boy) thanked me and told me that I probably made his boy the happiest kid on earth. Why? Well: That white toy car in his hand was a Lamborghini Huracan and he just had found it five minutes ago on the side of the road. No kidding! Then, he got to sit in the real thing... It made me happy too on that day. 😎

I have probably driven my RS this year more then any of the previous years. As travelling with planes has been more difficult and kind of limited with destinations (still managed to go to the other side of the planet ) , going to the Ring has been an agreeable alternative. Each time a 2000 km trip.
Driving a nice car makes others people happy too. There will always be the jealous ones or the ones who see sports cars as nuisances, but many others will have a huge smile seeing a nice dream sports car live.
So drive your cars, it makes the lives of others happier

Oh, I am. Mileage might be down a bit but frequency is probably up.

Good for you Christian! You made some people's day that day, and you may never know how you influenced their lives.
