It was a surprise, I never had any accident. I don't think driving hard has anything to do with it?? Has anyone experienced a bent sway bar?? What could be the cause?

very odd. It could only be bent by impact (which would
leave a big mark on the bar), or by a combination of
manufacturing defect and some odd manner of usage that I
can't even imagine at this time. I can't imagine Porsche
would install one that was already bent, either. This sounds
like the dealer covering something up, like a shop accident...
Make sure you see the bent part. Any bright shiney dent,
or one covered by fresh grease and dust that doesn't match
the same dust and grease all over the whole bottom of the
car is sign of a cover-up IMHO.

Like I said, the ding will have to be visible. If you somehow
did it yourself by driving, the ding will be dirty exactly like
the rest of the underside. If it's not, especially if it's dirty
but differently dirty that the rest of the car, there's no other
way than someone covering up. Is the car stock suspension?
Fortunately, I guess, a swaybar isn't rocket science, so it
should be relatively cheap to replace. In fact, the bar itself
will probably work fine if straightened. I would have the
bar mounting bushings checked. Too much driving with a
bent swaybar might wear the bushings into a larger hole.
