GT-Boy:Fascinating Read. Makes one ask the question: Will the Valkyrie ever be delivered to actual customers ? I had no idea that Adrian Newey had stepped away from the project over 1 year ago.
I think they are too far down the development path, and have too much invested in it, not to finally deliver the Valkyrie. If they pulled the plug now, it would be a major PR disaster.

I would take the very positive reviews of the DBX with a grain of salt. Most are the British Auto Press that always fawn over anything Aston. They also gave the DB11 and new Vantage great reviews........

Exactly - like Mr.JWW review is clearly a paid review - far from being "neutral". The invitations for visiting the DBX at the dealers was just in the mail - I'd take a Cayenne over this any day.

I don't think these type of "JWW" puff pieces will do the DBX (or any other car) much in the long run as people will find out for themselves if its any good the first time they take a test drive. If you set high expectation and then fall short, people will be disappointed and walk. Better to admit it has a few warts, lower expectation and then beat them. Aston had the same type of "puff" pieces on the latest Vantage and DB11 and it all feel apart once you got a perspective buyer into the dealership and behind the wheel.

I haven't driven it the DBX yet but to be honest, I don't want to. This car looks hideous, so ugly. And boring, as boring as the Maserati Levante. Maybe the DBX drives great, maybe the quality is great but I cannot look away, the design is soooo ugly.

I haven't driven it the DBX yet but to be honest, I don't want to. This car looks hideous, so ugly. And boring, as boring as the Maserati Levante. Maybe the DBX drives great, maybe the quality is great but I cannot look away, the design is soooo ugly.
Agree on the Maserati Levante. It was a test drive I cut short. Horrible FCA parts bin special.

Interesting, I rather like the look of it, at least from the latest videos that have been published.
I can get used to the interior, it is OK but the exterior? Nope. 
The design reminds me a lot of the first Cayenne. It took them another generation to get it right. Maybe AM, if they survive 
, will have the same success.

agree, I think that's a bit unfair to the Admiral.
