I think so too. I wonder if the mules are representative of the final product (hope so)
In its current, therefore almost final stage, I’d be surprised if the engine note will still change. When the 991 prototype‘s where driving around Stuttgart, I was surprised about the sound and loudness of the exhaust. As we all know, that had been carried over to the production car back then.
the sound is now muted. 991 was type certified in 2013 and .2 in 2017...2 certifications happened in between. GT3rs.3 with GPF as well as speedster are already really muted. loud is no more the norm.
What I am saying is, that the 991 prototypes driving around back then displayed the character and level of the exhaust sound as subsequently featured in serial production trim. The GT3 mules driving around now seem to do the same, and I am surprised how good they sound.
