Dane:It NOW looks like the new GT3 will be launched in September.... we will have to wait and see what will really happen
I would think Porsche is ready and anxious to get the GT program under way for the 992 - they plan so many models that delaying a year would really be a big setback. I'm not sure what kinds of delays that the virus may have caused (regulatory approvals, maybe?). I hope that Euro Delivery is not going to be canceled for US citizens or I may pass otherwise...

I doubt that any US tourist delivery will be possible this year but I may be wrong...
31th of August is the end of the German government's travel warning but I kind of have the feeling that it will be prolonged for US travel, which also means that US citizens won't be able to travel to Germany.
The virus caused lots of issues at regulatory institutions over here but the impact is now less serious than before.
I still think the GT3 will be delayed in a way or another but it would be already great if they, at least, present the car in autumn.

If you think this whole Corona crisis is over by next year, I have to disappoint you. Autumn/winter time will probably be the time with travel restrictions if they do not find a working vaccine in time, if it doesn't work or if there aren't enough vaccines available by that time.
I wouldn't make too many plans for next year to be honest.

These mules probably yes but once they accelerate, they sound as bad as the new 992 Turbo S, just with a deeper growl. A bit similar to the GT2 RS but a tad quieter.

In its current, therefore almost final stage, I’d be surprised if the engine note will still change. When the 991 prototype‘s where driving around Stuttgart, I was surprised about the sound and loudness of the exhaust. As we all know, that had been carried over to the production car back then.

the sound is now muted. 991 was type certified in 2013 and .2 in 2017...2 certifications happened in between. GT3rs.3 with GPF as well as speedster are already really muted. loud is no more the norm.

this is indeed what you will get. lower part of front bumper should stay unpainted and from sides to top painted.
I find it interesting, that the GT3 with the wing has the bumper in matte, while the Touring has it painted in body colour:
this is just a trick. I think painting the lower front will be an option.
