Isn't this the Python Green that is currently on the configurator for the Boxster and Cayman GTS models?

Got more infos about the green I was mentioning . It is still in development, so It is not what we have seen under that GT3 cover.
It will be ready by fall, end o the year and will be called : Shade green Metallic
It is programmed for one of the 911 variants. I could see it on the Sports Classic, or the Touring .

the-missile:there is new OLIVE color in the pipeline...but that may be booked for limited edition.
let's see.
Maybe this Olive is the one that will be called Shade green. My info comes from a very reliable source, not from '' rumors '' nor 2nd , 3rd party, or someone told that ... etc

macca993:Latest pictures from Florida today. Generally when cars are seen testing in NA pretty much without camoflauge they are within 6-8 weeks of being announced publicly, so expect a reveal any time between now and September....

Agreed. The 992 GT3 Touring test mule looks great apart from the terrible rear wing! 
At the moment it looks like the Porsche test driver has foolishly left the rear boot wide open... 
Hopefully they will come up with another design for the GT3 Touring rear wing, or offer a duck-tail as an option!
I am sure that Andreas Preuninger and Frank Walliser will be reading this Rennteam thread, so they will know what they need to do to ensure that the Porsche 992 GT3 Touring is a beautiful and elegant modern day classic!

I don't have any inside information, but that would be surprising to me. The car seems to be finished and is always a big seller - don't know why they wouldn't want to begin to reap some profits sooner??

Im with Grant. They have started testing teh car on the road virtually un-camoflauged in USA in the last two weeks. My experience from previous generation 1 GT3 development is that once they let that cat out of the bag the launch is imminent. Expect to see it unveiled any time soon - between now and Sept IMO. Production howver may not start till Q4 and deliveries will almost certainly not take place till Q1 2021 I would imagine due to the effects Covid has had on production planning schedules etc

There are reasons to get the homologation done early with regards to emission levels, before stricter limits go into force , but maybe they need to delay the launch and deliveries because of the CO2 budget of their fleet in the market, to avoid financial penalties. Probably they need to sell some more electric vehicles first. Just speculating.
