So many things at Mercedes going wrong right now... 
If they start putting V6 engines into their C63/E63 models, they won't sell anymore.
Also, lately, the sound has been muted anyway.
The AMG GT is also around for a while now (5 years?) and no substantial facelift has happened.

The stringent CO2 regulations in the EU is what dictates the move to a V6 from a V8. Look at the Audi S-cars in the EU equipped with a V6 TDI instead of a petrol motor. In the States, we still get the S-cars fitted with a V6 petrol unit, while the previous generation of S6/S7 did retain V8s. It is a loss but no where near as dramatic as what happened in the EU.
Full disclosure: We had an E-tron Sportback on order and have decided to go with an Audi S6 for virtually the same cost instead. It is a very impressive automobile.

Another local car collector here is Blackhall, my son knows his daughter and she is actually taking care (incl. driving) of the cars most of the time. And her brother.

A third one is a driving buddy and neighbour but he doesn't want to go public with his collection. Only this: He owns several(!) SLRs, let alone his other amazing cars, incl. a F50. He also gets a Project One (my son can't wait to see this one).
We have some pretty nice and intense car collections here in Bavaria but many keep these collections under wraps from the public, too dangerous, too much envy.
None of these car collectors have become rich through Instagram or YouTube, all of them are actually real estate developers and vendors. Very rich people.

Btw: Gercollector is a very good driver (and this comes from me 
), Muc Collector is more of a...collector. 
He is more into exotics you can barely drive.
They both disagree on a few topics from time to time, especially when it comes to the Project One both ordered.

It's interesting to know what Muc and Ger disagree about. 
I'm referring to the spec of the cars, not the cars themselves. Matte black E63 with red accents, ///M stickers, ... It's all a bit 'look at me'. That doesn't take anything away from his driving or whatever talents he might have.
