I think he applied too much throttle in that curve before the crash...
I've seen such accidents various times, people don't seem to have a "feel" for the power, especially at lower speeds where traction could be a serious issue. Maybe he even had ESP turned off, don't have a clue but this is a typical driving error.
Half or full throttle can work wonderfully when you are already doing 80 or 100 kph but at 20-30 or even 50 kph, this can end up pretty badly if the car has traction issues, especially when ESP is turned off.
Did I tell you the story where I switched ESP off on my 997 Turbo, forgot about that and then exited from a smaller road into a major road with almost full throttle and ended up doing a spin in the middle of that major road? I learned my lesson.
