Whoopsy:Good thing I didn't buy the M5 earlier today.
I like the M5 facelift, I hate the E63 S facelift, it looks so hideous. Who buys this crap?

The facelifted M5 does look really good. 
But the facelift came rather quickly, no? For how long has the M5 been on the market, feels just like 2-3 years?

I will take a look at the M5 facelift lease rates in a couple of weeks, I bet they are going to be sensationally good (they have been already so far...). It is interesting to note that facelifts don't seem to get power upgrades anymore, which is a bit disappointing. May have to do with certification times and related issues, don't know.

BMW actually improved the exterior (the interior is debatable but they followed the digitalization trend) in my opinion, a lot (without making the car look cheap or like a rice burner).
Mercedes (sorry for my repeated rant) however...with the new E63 S...

Great to see these side-by-side photos.
I think BMW did a very good job. Though the differences are very subtle, they do improve the looks of the car. And for the first time I would say the bigger kiney looks better than the smaler version of the predecessor. So not all hope is lost.

Exactly. I might be in the minority but I think that BMW’s new light signature is hideous. The front is very generic and both ends remind me of Opel.
The black accents and bigger kidney are alright but one can hardly figure which is supposed to be the facelift.
Surprised that most of you guys are so excited about it.

Strong yes. Unless BMW follows a new concept with their light signature, I really don’t know where they are going. The new display in the interior... yuuuge.
The rest doesn’t really make a difference, does it?
Anyways, might look different in real life. Just saw the new Golf 8 GTI on the road, looks better than on pictures.
