    Road tire suggestions

    Hi everyone,

    I'm looking for suggestions for a road tire. Dry traction is what I value most, however I'm not ready to go with such a soft tire as the Michelin Pilot Cups. A friend of mine just switched from Bridgestone Potenza S-03's to Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. They are getting rave reviews from Euro mags and he likes them thus far.

    Right now I have Michelin Pilot Sports (came as OE). They are decent.

    I use the Cups for both street and track, wet and dry. Excellent traction and very responsive, however standing water does deserve respect due to the shallow tread. You might want to reconsider and try a set. Hot tire pressures in 32-34psi range and cambers in the 1 to 1.5 degree range work well.
