Occurred to me that this SF90 could be Ferrari's sort-of-equivalent to the 911 TurboS; based on the mainstream mid engine cars but higher HP, more leading power tech plus AWD to put down this power...

I don't know, from a performance point of view, this car is amazing, especially looking at the price/performance ratio. Quite unusual from Ferrari if you ask me.
A friend ordered the SF90 Stradale Spider, will get the chance to drive it and will report how it is.

Yes, but without a glorious V12. For the first time in a while I am thinking I will hold out and buy used . I think the car to have in the near term will be the 812 TDF equivalent in a rumoured Aperta version.

the 812 in its GTS spice already looks good. a more hardcore version will just be cherry on the cake

The downshifts on the 812 in Race-mode are pure... chili

Agreed. I am still thinking about getting an Aventador or a F12 at some point in the future, used Aventador prices are already pretty low, the F12 is not much different but I am a little bit scared of maintenance cost. 👀

The gearbox on the Aventador means that you would have to go for the F12.
