Speaking of Munich does anyone have experience with Schaltkulisse https://www.schaltkulisse.de/en ?They certainly have great cars there.

Porker:RC:Porker:Don't forget the kitchen-top wing/carbon finish.
They made it this way (big and shiny) so GT3 drivers recognise it immediately when they follow, so they do not get lost.

I know, you know it better than anything.

Another 2 days of TF and meat/fire/beer. Feels unbelievably good after the world had stopped turning for 2 months. Brilliant weather yesterday, not many people on track. Today bit cloudy and a busier track but good fun navigating through it nonetheless. An onboard is upcoming from a few of those laps, meanwhile the obligatory photos again.
In other news, my friend took delivery of his 812. F*cking hell that is something else. You know that anything >500hp is difficult to shake loose on the autobahn, so I would have expected to stay near a bit with +/-525hp and 200kg less, but that thing just shoots off. It's almost absurd to witness, when sitting in a car that is anything but slow. What an animal... Of course on track the GT3 is much more at home and again impressed with its incredible mechanical built quality, you just pound that thing and nothing ever, ever goes wrong. The only malfunction was caused by myself as I didn't know the difference between a concentrate to fill your window washing thing, and non concentrate thing. So I filled it up with 'the best I could get' aka the most expensive. Turned out that was concentrate, when spraying my windows for insects at Schwedenkreuz, all I could see was green soap and we had to pull over.
(rotating gods, please help again)

Great - watching the vid reminds me to NEVER EVER sit as co-pilot in any sportscar be it on the Nordschleife or else ... I became (nearly) sick only watching the vid. But, interesting to follow and kudos for the smooth gear changes !

Very impressive driving. You have to know the track as well as the back of your hand to drive like.

Thx Nick. It becomes a certain flow that place, if you go often enough. Mind you this is on very worn Cup 2's and no ESC, usually a GT3 is a much more planted/steady thing around there.

Me driving you mean? No, I reserve the privilege to write off EUR400k against the guardrail when it's my own 812.

No the idea is that 1) on worn tires it cuts in here and there in certain sections, because obviously the car moves around more, and 2) I'd like to have the freedom to play if one presents itself.
I would leave it on of course if you're properly going for 'a laptime' as the sense of a security blanket when it all goes wrong certainly helps with the mindset.

I would love to be able to slide around the Ring, but I don't have the balls as I am not sure where the limit is .... and don't want to find out there

+1, great statement ! It is addictive to drive fast, but, call it balls or whatever, for me, my butt always brings me down to earth again as well ....

Nothing to do with balls but risk assessment. At a certain age, risk becomes a liability (with family and all) and the desire to live long and prosper 🖖 is much higher.

Drove my friend's 812 on the roads surrounding the Nürburgring. That thing is even more mental than I remembered from our earlier testdrive, it is SO unhinged it has to be experienced to be believed. The gearbox is an incredible match to the engine, the downshifts simply to die for.
I stop resisting, this has to replace the GT3.
