Nor he adapted to brake steering McLaren uses. You need a lot of days to adapt to this system and to be convinced to brake much later than in any car you drove before. Even more days you need to find a non-accident 650S for less than 100.000 Euros. 🤞🏼

The 650 is also not good enough even in the straigth line. The car just lacks road connection. I really felt I could never consider a 650 for myself. McLaren made a major (!) step forward with the 720. A completely different car.

Congratulations, hope to see it on the autobahn one day! Are those wheels the 12C ones? Didn't see them before on 720.

First impressions: A spaceship in looks and in performance. This thing flies. Maybe to much for the road but i think i need to get used to it a little bit more. I love the torque from around 3k. You don’t need to wring the engine out like in the 600LT or 12C to get proper woot. The feel for the front axle/road is a little bit more muted than in the 12C and so im not 100% convinced right now about turn in grip and stability but that comes with time and miles. Maybe that has also to do with the tires (Corsa now) and once I get the MPSC2 on it we will see. Also the brake feel is different than in my former 12C and you need to use the pedal properly. Very happy with the sound department. Its loud also with closed back window, not too loud but imho louder than the 12C. And with the “sound” window in the back down I could not ask for more.
I must also disagree with MKSGR that you can explore a car in 3-4 hours to its potential and understand it. In the 720s you need more time, live with it, get used to it but right now I am on my path and a very happy man

Happy driving 
The good thing with all the power at the rear axle is that the car feels like sportscars used to feel 20-30 years ago. You are constantly in alert mode - a little bit too much could be too much. This makes you aware of actually driving the car

One recommendation when you go with the Performance equipment: Order also the Secondary Interior Components - Carbon Fibre Pack. Without it looks a little bit off as the black parts in the doors and around navigation screen doesn’t fit color wise to well. I ordered it now to retrofit. Also as a additional touch I ordered now the key upper cover in yellow to complement the interior stitching.
Some shots from a small get together with friends and drive through Austria (Tyrol, Salzburg, Styria, Carithia). 4 days 2k km with Malta Hochalmstraße, Nockalmstraße, Lesachtal, Kulmtal, Sölkpass, Obertauern, Katschberg, Hohe Tauern, Murtal to Name a view ....
Got in touch with my car and it got also proper usage with some Snow, Rain, (very)dirty Roads but also many miles best tarmac. Now my 720s has 2600km and i got used to it more. It is a car you cant drive 10/10 on public roads but boy is it fun.
Nice roads around Katschberg and Co, have been there a couple of times (mainly for skiing).
