    Which explains perfectly why Porsche never offered this in the past.  We are first and foremost DRIVERS who know good stuff when we see it.  I’m proud of this for us all.

    Interesting that AP refers to the GT4 RS being a track day car, but states that RS here stands for race fun instead of racing sports - l just love Porsche marketing … here we are again: A very driver focused car ! smiley

    These winglets on the front bumper damage the design as they look like an afterthought. A rough-and-ready solution.

    GT3's front is very much cleaner and more attractive and I am sure at least equally effective.

    He had to keep the Racing sport for the GT3 RS Smiley Noticed also how he keeps the GT3 as ''the'' track car and the GT4 more ''the fun'' car

    Epic car...I'm more & more curious about what they will do in the Spyder!
    Here the GT4RS starts at 197k€...my configuration ends in a pornographic 233k€!!!

    I think I am going to name my GT4RS. It's going to be Pocket Rocket.

    The only other car I named was the Exclusive. Duracell. 

    Not even the 918 got a name. Out of the 60+ cars I have ever owned, these are the only two. 

     

    My wife named the Turbo x- lax for obvious reasons related to my driving.  Her little Honda HRV is Hercules and the Tesla is the first one I named - Ayrton. 
    I doubt my dealer will have any available it I might as well get on another 20 year list. 

    You never developed a proper relationship with your Porsche dealer 🤷🏻‍♂️

    It's like walking up to a completely stranger in a bar asking to fuck her straight up. 99.9% of the time you gonna be rejected. But had you send the time to buy her a drink or two or three and chat and dance and stuff, your chances of scoring a hit will be much greater.

    Until the new GT3RS comes along, the GT4RS is right now Porsche's best driver's car. Agile mid engine platform that can dance to the driver's input. Peddle shifter on the wheel means 100% connection with the car and gearing at all times. Literally dream machine.

    It will be refreshing to drive a different layout car after spending so many years taming the rear engine 911s. They had become quite a pussy cat now that Porsche had defied physics and made rear engine layout work.

    This is to me the most attractive sportscar on the market. What a machine. Both this and the 812 Competizione feel like they were developed as the final and epic sent-off  to a platform about to be phased out and more generally to a soon bygone era of the automobile.

    Nope - if you look at the GT4 section on porsche website, it also says -30mm lowered.  So, should be same between GT4 and RS...

    I should be doing European delivery. Wanted to schedule it around another Porsche Circle driving event. But if I do indeed go for PTS then all bets are off when the production will be 😂

    Right now I am being pressured by my peers to have me drop the sofa seats and go back to buckets like last time out with the GT2RS. On the fence atm, maybe I will change it back to buckets and take sofas with the RS Spyder.

    Honestly, I think the sofa make sense for BOTH.

    Both are street cars, why the need for buckets? If I want buckets, that means I am on track. and if I am on track, I would much prefer a proper racing bucket than the 918 bucket. Much more support from head to shoulder to waist to thigh. it is why Porsche fits the Recaro racing bucket on their record cars instead of using the 918 buckets.

    It is really pointless to get the 918 buckets just to have that 'race' look. After 6 years in them, I can absolute say they offer zero improvement over the 18 way, other than saving some weight which 99.99% of the population won't even noticed. 

    They do however let 6-point race belts to have a pass through for shoulder belts. If one is on only the 3 point belt, the 918 buckets are only there for looks.

    Honestly, the 996 buckets are so much better for support and practicality, those also fold down to say the least.
