    Greetings fro Florida

    Out for a ride today trying to get to 2000 miles as quickly as I can. I'm half way there after two weeks with the car. The car is performing extremely well. A rattle in each door and a problem with the navi reading the dvd are all I can report for problems. Great day for a drive by the beach. See for yourself.

    Wanna see some pictures of the weather over here in Germany? You posted your beautiful pictures just at the right time, I was looking at my 997 Carrera S in the garage and started again.

    Very nice pictures and refreshing scenery (I spent there a couple of years as a child).

    Yeah, been beautiful though chilly (10-15*C) here up until this weekend when its suposed to rain bad. Sunday a bunch of friends and I are going to Portugal for some Karting so keeping my fingers crossed But at least no snow, that really ruins everthing and must be a PITA.

    RC, the weather in florida aint exactly heaven either, they got hit by 4 successive hurricanes, yes 4, just a few months ago.

    california, now thats another story, perfect weather all year round, just a minor earthquake here and there. i can't wait to move

    Re: the DVD/NAV: like many of us, NAVTECH may have sent you the wrong CD's. you should receive just 1 (one) DVD, not a set of 2 CD's. this happens all the time. call your dealer, he should be able to call NAVTEC and order the right stuff.

    That was the first thing I checked and I have the correct dvd. I get a "load dvd in nav" message from time to time. Most of the time it works just fine. I have an appt. on tuesday at the dealer...I'l let you know what they say.
