Beautiful. Looks like you got the GT3 wheels, which are great.
I assume you're having your car shipped to you, since you're not taking delivery for a while, but let me suggest you ask them to take your car off the showroom floor, or at least shut the windows and lock it up, so you don't have people sitting in your car and causing whatever damage might happen from less-than-concerned folks getting in and out of your car.

Yes, it is being shipped to me....
The car has actually been there more than just a day or so, and I would guess the back of the showroom is the best place for it, detailed and inside protected from the elements. Since the car is sold, and it has the sold sign on it, I wouldn't think anyone gets to sit in it. I would hope the car is locked and closed up

someone willing to wait 9 months for a car just shows how loyal some true enthusiasts are to the marque.
PS. was it really neccesary to wait that long? especially with the carrera 4S, most dealers should have had allocations that were about to go in production, so you would have only had to wait 3~ months MAX.
anyways, thats all in the past, the long wait just makes it that much sweeter when you finally get it!

Thanks everyone, I'm very excited, as this will be my first Porsche. 
-I placed my order in March for an 05' C4S to be delivered around Oct. I am in the early process of building a house, so that financial matter came first. This is why I wanted the car so late in the year. Actually the 9 months went by quick. The car is in FL at Champion (got a great deal on a spec car I couldn't get at any local,(5)dealers), and it will be delivered to the west coast, hence the delay in shipping....have to wait for a truck scheduled to come to my area.
I've always loved the 996 C4S and thought from what I saw at the time, the 997 was nice, but I didn't care for the front of the 997 (lights, grill) or alot of the interior. Now that I have seen the 997 in person, yes, it is a beautiful car, but I am extremely happy I opted for the C4S instead (couldn't afford a Turbo
). I will be taking care of a few of the obvious mods when the car arrives....clear side markers, silver badge, painted bumperettes, etc, etc, etc.
My only regret, in hindsight, is I wish I would have ordered the X73 sport suspension, and deviated stitching on some of the interior.

Your decision, as far as I am concerned, was the right one. Having the 05 C4S shown above I just love the car. I do believe that the production figues on our car will be around 230 for the year. As a matter of fact my dealer claims he can't order any more this year. What have you heard?

If your asking me....I love the 996 C4S, more than the 997. I don't care about the extra hp right now, as well as the other things I previously mentioned. The 996 suits me fine for now, it's what I want. Hopefully, after many years of enjoyment with this C4S (being my first Porsche), I will then upgrade to the 998
