How do you manufacture the sharp ductwork on the door panel. I'm assuming you believe there will be a viable composite manufacturing process by 2018 (and ingenious hinge mechanisms)? Does the front luggage lid cut line go down to the bumper? Today, the plastic front/rear bumbers have noticeably larger coefficients of thermal expansion compared to steel so you have be extremely careful in your cut line and attachement point decisions. Other than that, good job.

Give the man a break Chupa. You sound very 'tightlipped' but I'm sure you don't mean to. This is not a technical sketch but a design vision!
Farina: I love it! Your drawings are awesome and inspiring. I see how most of your Porsche designs lean towards a more balanced and centered design. It is quite classical in many ways, almost in the same way/principle as the AMV8 (although looks different). Keep up the good work.

Looks alot like a super car.
It doesn't have substantial references any earlier street cars in Porsche's production.
Why call it a _Boxster_ at all?
yeah, boxer engine, two seater roadster, but the name "Boxster" is like "911" it will always be associated with the current established styling.
IOW, anyone looking at a 1965 911 will see it is the same family of car as today's 997. How can you diverge from Boxster so radically as shown in your drawing and yet not even a decade has passed?

These sketches make me think. Everybody always talks about that porsche won't let the boxster take away part of the 911's niche. Isn't there a niche for a very small, light, track oriented car like the Elise? smaller than the Boxster. lighter, targa roofed, and with a slightly more radical styling than the 911 and the boxster... Sounds too good to be true...
