Flat tire AGAIN on my M3 with 18s. Lemme ask you this:
SOB! The dash lights up, I pull over, tires low, I fill with air, reset the TPM and drive off. Ten minutes later same thing: I jack it up and remove tire, I find a drywall screw, I push a plug in the hole I reinflate remount tire I drive way. The car is sitting in the garage now, I'll will have it patched from inside on Monday.
Now with the 997, I plan to do the same thing.
Here's my issue: With the 19s and no TPM How much time will we have to figure out the tire is flat and we are about to tear up the wheel?
I figure without the TPMonitor, the tire is gonna be destroyed on the inside by the time I hear a "flub flub, or a bump bump, or thud thud.
I HOPE to hear all this before I hear the wheel getting destroyed.
Do you have any thoughts on what will happen, what we will experience, with these 19 inch wheels when they get a puncture and slow leak?
Doesn't look like it's gonna be easy
