I always looked on Panamera as upscaled A7. No problem there

Eh, interior is OK. I'll wait for the Sport Turismo interior.\

Re: Panamera 2016 (Gen.2) Thread Closed

Panamera 4S. I really like the proportions. The Panamera has never been fotogenic, but this do look nice! 21" turbo wheels suits the car and the large panorama roof will be a nice updgrade! Like the Sport design mirrors also.

Re: Panamera 2016 (Gen.2) Thread Closed

Without that hump the Panamera looks miles better that's for sure.

Old one looks very clumsy, the new one can almost be considered sleek.

Rear lights and rear led strip has camo, no other parts. But that is quite obvious isn't it?

Oh, wait, that's an Audi S7. Kind of hard to tell them apart. Never had that problem with the current Panamera.

Re: Panamera 2016 (Gen.2) Thread Closed

Meh, not good looking. The original Panamera was weird in the back, but at least it was unique. This looks super generic now.

I'm right now driving my second Panamera Turbo S and have initially told my dealer to see to it that I'm first in line for the new TS version. Then I read what Aldo wrote about the new TS with down scaled engine (4,0l 550hp) and addition of hybrid (136 hp) with a total weight of 2.300 kg. A bit heavy, but I could still find it interesting, maybe...

But to be honest, the latest pictures is just showing what I would descibe as a overpriced Audi. Dosen't really get me going....mail

I'll wait and see what it looks like in real, but so far I'm not that optimistic, even if I still hope for the best kiss

I agree with Whoopsey and Lukas, the (side) line looks much sleeker now, the Wiedeking hump is gone, good riddance.

Re: Panamera 2016 (Gen.2) Thread Closed

Quite a nice profile, looks good in white as well. Hope the headlights are smaller without the camouflage.

I am already mentally configuring a white Turbo with two tone red black interior and panoramic roof.

Looking forward to seeing pics of the interior.

    Thanks all

Well so far the old design looked much more interesting. Anyhow that's not what matters as long as don't don't allow 3 people to sit in the back, provide a sportier drive feel and drop massively the price of a normally optioned car...

The Tesla model S is killing that segment anywaySmiley

You can order the option for the 2+1 rear bench.

Sportier feeling in this class? Let me think who provides this? Mercedes S-class - no, BMW 7-series - no, Audi A8 - no, Tesla S - no - so what did you find drives sportier?

On the segment of the turbo and turbo S, FF 612 Rapide, also the Bentley is probably close enough in term of emotions (not sportier, different).

On the lower segment? Cayenne and Macan and some Audis/Mercedes SUVs are close enough and much more practical and way cheaper, and the Tesla Model S is so innovative it doesn't matter if it is not as sporty with its massive torque. RC seems to say the RS6 is also better...

I had the chance to test-drive the latest S8 Plus. It feels quite sporty, believe me. Smiley I don't know how fast this thing is on the track but it felt sportier than my previous Panamera Turbo S. Can't say much about the latest BMW 7series, haven't driven it yet. The latest Mercedes S63 AMG? Forget it, you're right...not sporty at all.

My question was sportier in the same class.  A FF is not even in the same class, it is much more expensive and at the rear no way as an adult you can enjoy a long journey. Rapide is by far less sportier. Bentley flying spur is a real fat pig compared to Panamera. Tesla S has huge torque but also a very cheap interior and at the end a different car.

M6 gran coupé is smaller, RS6 or RS7 are both one class lower.

I am not talking about a better or sportier car. Just a car in the same class.

I have heard about unbelievable good track times for the new Panamera. I didn´t mention it here, because I could not believe it. I hope that I am wrong.

You are right Smiley - I mean I am right Smiley

If you are searching for the sportiest car in the Panamera class (S, 7, A8, ..) then it is the Panamera. Again, I never said it is the best car in this class or any other class.
