The Porsche is the faster car but OTOH the Alpine is very fresh and enticing.
However, I am not sure about the long-term integrity of the Renault product compared to the Porsche.
Out of the above list I would go for the M2 if I were to choose a car for main use.

everything developped by Renault Sport is rock solid.

I wonder how sales are going! Not a lot on the road, and residuals seem very strong at the moment.

Production is limited ( by capacity ) I think it is around 3000 a year ..... so you should not see them more then the RS on the road Last time I checked ( last summer ) waiting list to get one was 14 month . Production capacity was supposed to be pushed to about 5000 cars a year due to the high demand

A110S
288hp(+40hp) and 320Nm(same as before)
carbon fiber roof which is 4.1 lbs (1.9 kg) lighter than the conventional roof.
+11KG
260km/h(+10km/h)
0-100km/h in 4.4s(-0.1s)
A110S has a retuned suspension with 50% stiffer coil springs and 100% stiffer anti-roll bars. The model also has new dampers and a 0.2 inch (4 mm) reduced ride height.
I am not sure I would want this car to be stiffer , unless it is for track use . I found the regular A110 to have a perfect setting as a public road car .
I am mainly waiting for this car to be offered with a manual gear box

A manual version would indeed be very interesting
reginos:More cooling for engine, bigger turbo/intercoooler
Very nice these Alpines

The extra weight could be from the larger wheels , Focal audio system , front and back parking radar , track application and the stronger sway bars . All these are standard , bringing the weight to 1114 kg . Which stays extremely low in todays world

I still can't get used to how it looks...

Renault Could Kill The Alpine A110 After Just Three Years
The company is looking to cut costs.
Renault, like many automakers right now, are looking to cut costs to survive the coronavirus pandemic. The French automaker, part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, is preparing to unveil a cost-cutting plan that, according to a new report from Automotive News Europe, calls for the closing of several factories. One of those possible closures is Renault’s Dieppe, France, plant where it builds the limited-production Alpine A110 sports car.
This could put the A110 out to pasture just three years after its introduction at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The factory employs about 400 people, according to the publication, and it’s one of the company’s smallest factories in the alliance. The report doesn’t say if Renault plans to move A110 production out of Dieppe, though in September 2018, the company had a 14-month waiting period for the new car, at the time increasing output from 15 to 20 cars a day.
The A110 is how long on the market? Believe it or not but I haven't seen one on the road here in Germany once.

The A110 is a nice and interesting car, from what I understand, but most sports car fans cannot justify paying €70.000 for a Renault. As a result the Alpine has been relegated to the category of "journalists' favourite".
This car is like the girl many fall in love with but nobody marries.

I knew such a girl and I was crazy about her (like everybody else who met her, she had that certain "je ne sais quoi") but thank god I didn't marry her, she is obese now.
