Why? It seems to work great in a garage. 
So it should be perfect for the track.

My son was the same...until I scared him good during an event on a closed track last year. He is a lot different now, more mature, which may also have to do with the age (he is almost 17). At 15, he was like "why don't you let me drive the car..".
I have to be careful what I write because he reads Rennteam...

My son has been driving my RS on track when he was 13 years old and again last year , but last time my car went into limp mode so he was not able to go faster then 100 km/h 
. The first time he was doing 200 km/h on the straight . I was the one scared 
Don't know what it would take to make him scared ..... maybe the Ring with traffic
