Aston Martin V12 Vanquish
German sport-auto ( issue 01/2003 "The Premium Bond car") tested the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife: 8.17 min and at Hockenheim: 1 min 17.2 sec .....not bad for 1888 kg empty weight. According to Horst von Saurma "a breathtaking performance".

469 HP (they got this wrong, should be 460)
torque 542 Nm at 5000 RPM
0-100 km/h = 5.4 sec
0-200 km/h = 15.6 sec
max speed 322 km/h
price 245 kEUR
It was compared with the new Ferrari F 575M Maranello, which has abt. 100 kgs less weight, 55 more HP and therefore finished slightly in front.
