    Also, the "better car" in the future is only hoped for; in reality it brings both better and worse in the majority of cases... there is value in the security of knowing the current car.

    Best of luck. Push hard  - I am almost certain I will not buy a new McLaren anytime soon given the horrific depreciation here in the UK.

    I think you have to be hard when buying when selling it is too late. I have received always huge discounts at the beginning.

    For a totally of 4 years with two McLaren 650s spider and 720s coupé I have lost in depreciation less than before with my 911 turbo cars. I don't lease.
