    Rennteam Crew caught in snow

    This happens if our test crew is clever enough to drive through the Austrian/Italian mountains...

    So the decision was made to tow the cars out rather than risk driving in the snow?

    The smoking 996S is on ceramic brakes??? I only once got close to that... Also in mountain conditions.

    It's not a 996, it looks like a 993.

    It's not a 996, it looks like a 993.



    993 Turbo. And all three cars together have around 1500 HP.

    What the pictures don't show: the towing truck got stuck too and had to stay together with the cars high up in the mountains over night.

    hemmm... it seems that i know the guy who drive the silver 996 Turbo ....it seems also that this turbo..has only a few HP...

    Wow, there's already a lot of snow in the alps. Just checked a webcam of Brixen in thale. It has wakened up my ski-virus.

    I had actually meant to say 997. I was thinking of the "retro" look of the new 997 and didn't look closely. But yes of course, it is a 993 and not 996 or 997.

    Yes, this is a Corvette and not a slow one.
    As I said before, there are minimum 1500 HP on these three cars.
