Let me get this straight: you claim a 7:30 in a full 20,8Km ring lap time on a supercharged 480HP CSL with street tires? do you realise the Saurma's you mentioned best lap on a CarreraGT was only a 7:32?
How on earth can you explain that a BMW 3-series CSL is going to OUTHANDLE a 612HP CarreraGT supercar (or Pagani Zonda or Techart 600HP+ GT-Street or even a stock GT2 for that matter) by just dropping a simple supercharger in it????

Thats what I thought, frazze. We weren't born yesterday you know.
No 480HP 3-series that is still street legal is going to drop bellow a 7:40 in the ring (not even a 480HP supercharged GT3RS), let alone 7:30. Notice I say street legal, cause if it ain't street legal, then there is no merit or difficulty in it.
The CSL is a great car, don't get me wrong, and as you say it does 7:50 around the ring in stock form, though other cars don't use R-compound Pilot Cups as stock which in a 20km course amounts to 5-10 seconds right there with no merit to the car. But to put it another way, but just becasue I put NOS for example on a 996 Carrera doesn't mean I'm going to out-drag a McLaren F1.

Ok, so you're saying that a tuned 3-series (which basically the CSL is) is faster than a street-legal LeMans prototype with much more hp?
To put it nicely, i don't believe it.

What is it to explaine? Great build car with a great driver!
The std CSL does 7:50 thats much faster than a lot of other cars with much more horsepower etc. How does BMW explaine that??

Well frazze, it would of helped if you said it wasn't a street legal car in the first place especially when I asked you to explain the reason for the lap times you claim, instead of saying "What is it to explaine? Great build car with a great driver!", cause in that case no one would of been surprised and nothing to get exited about, so would a Mitsu EVO VIII or any other and for less money... next thing you'll tell us that you used race slicks as well to do the lap time.

The brakes have bean uppgraded, the chassis stiffened, a half roll cage aded, susspension is uppgraded. The car is corner weighted and addjusted with propper rake angle.
There realy is no exotic changes done to the car, it's just that we have concentrated on improving EVERY aspect of the car. Even so, we did not use any specialy crafted exotic components, only of the shelf avaliable parts.(besides the Supercharger install)
