Black non-leather dash. How's it look? Pics?
I'm wary of the getting leather dash (full leather) for two reasons:
1. the numerous heavy stitch lines seem like added visual confusion to the overall design. Like a formal business suit with the seams accented with heavy stitching. Stitching gives it a casual look, more comfortable look. I like the more serious formal look.
2. the dash is one part of the car that is exposed to serious wear and tear, like UV, road dirt and dust, and stuff hitting and scratching it.
BUT I hear that full leather "is the only way to go."
I plan to spend the requisite $5000 on leather adaptive sports seats, but am avoiding the full leather interior.
Anybody else do this here?
What do you think of the simpler non-leather dash?
Any decent pics of black dash out there?
Most all of the interior dash shots are of full leather.
thanks!!
