Porker:Pista is really busy styling wise imo. I hope the SP2 and Roma add some welcome calm in the future designs...
Absolutely true.
I don‘t like the way Ferrari‘s design is heading since the departure from Pininfarina. The Roma may bring back some welcomed simplicity, but it almost looks too Japanese for me, especially the front.

The secret of life is to admire without desiring.
I think car manufacturers have become like politicians nowadays: They want to please each and everyone and in the end, no matter what they do, it is a compromise which doesn't make anyone really happy.

Another question on the topic of Ferrari's, since we're discussing Porsches and alignment, etc... elsewhere. Where do you go with a Ferrari (in Europe) for this sort of assistance? Is there a Ferrari equivalent to Manthey for people who track their Ferraris and desire a better setup? Or is it a completely different audience? I can't imagine going to a Ferrari main dealer and asking them to setup my car to my liking the way you do in Porsche raceshops (for the record, ask the same at a Porsche main dealer and they look at you as if you're from Mars whilst trying to sell you Porsche-branded luggage).

This is a very good question. I think there are some Ferrari specialists in Europe, I can ask (CR has a lot of Ferrari and track experience, he is almost every weekend at the track during the warmer months in Europe).

my local Ferrari dealer has a racing team linked to his garage . So I guess they know how to prepare cars .

spudgun:Ferrari dealer Antwerp (Belgium) supports all their clients on track days, so no issue there I guess...
Supporting them by handing out caps and driving gloves?

I thought so too but after dealing with them they appeared to be real car/track day guys. They send out their truck with crew to accommodate their gentlemen racers, not that different to the higher end Porsche guys. I designed a 360 Challenge Cup wrap in their garage a few years back, which sadly crashed a couple weeks later. Made a great meme though:

I recall that crash, I was driving that same day, was at Spa if I remember correctly? Brilliant wrap indeed.

It seems there is one close to Baden Baden, I can send you the contact via PM (apparently he doesn't want to be "public").

Ha - knew you would approve as well RC; even for Germans, there are some lovely aspects to Austria. You could forget about even taxation here....

Haven't we seen that house before here? I recall the setting...
Why is he selling so quickly? Market or disappointed?
