    typical aston martin quality, love the bespoke interior, no visible ford parts. which is a very good thing indeed.

    just hope that reliability can match 50% of porsche

    You know Fritz, pehaps you have more in common with AM owners than you know. They call Ferraris "dancing donkeys". The badges on the car sure look like it - all 16 of them.

    ford aint exactly got good reliability either.

    im saying lets hope the reliability can match even HALF of porsches, because astons have always been ssuspect in that department.

    i would buy one, but the DB9 is so much prettier, and the vanquish is prettier than that, and its 230k and a replacement is coming

    Hmm! This puts a new slant on the view often heard that Ferrari horses used for arriving at engine power output figures seem to be undernourished.

    Maybe they are just donkeys!?

    yes, this helps it achieve 50/50 weight distribution, like other new astons based on the DB9's aluminum platform.

    Hopefully, it will have a slightly rear-biased weight distribution like the Ferrari 612 which also has a front engine and rear transaxle. Ferrari said this greatly improved handling over the more typical 50/50 distribution...

    mabye 55/45? rear bias like the m3, benificial for RWD vehicles yes, but many manufactueres seem to prefer the marketability of 'perfect' balance...

    The M3 has a rear bias? Or maybe I just find your punctuation awkward.

    Anyway, I some imagine that one disavantage of separating large chunks of mass is that you increase the polar movement. The car will still not rotate as quickly as a mid-engined car. An AM designer commented that the polar movement should be as close to the driver's gut as possible.
