easy, I wish you would contribute more to RT than just opening a new thread for F1 races - very sad, I miss the really interesting "easy threads" of old...

So I guess it's more like:
Easy up next
We're at the point where you can be the fastest or just sound like you're the fastest.

When asked if he can beat Mercedes to the championship, Vettel said: “I think yes, we can.

Vettel reckons that Ferrari's potential is greater than it has showed so far, but key is better exploiting its tyre performance on Saturdays.

Actually, I think the key is getting Hamilton and Rosberg to take each other out on a regular basis, or Vettel and Ferrari have no chance at all.
Alonso has taken a lot of criticism for leaving Ferrari for McLaren, and Vettel praised for his "astute" move from Red Bull to Ferrari, but, in fact, neither driver is practically much closer to a championship title than the other.

Given identical cars, I have always presumed Alonso would be the fastest driver on the F1 track.
Having watched Q3 last night, DR would have to be up there. Given the horsepower deficit to the Mercs, he did extremely well to extract so much speed out of the car.
The rain will make the race particularly interesting - weather reports vary from 47-100% chance of rain at 1400 today.
More than a bit underwhelming, I thought.
Great luck for Hamilton, though, with, first, Rosberg's brakes, and, then, Ricciardo's disastrously awful pit stop with the tires not even ready.
Otherwise, not much of interest to say, besides remarking on Verstappen's reversal of fortune.
I always buy into the hype of Monaco and then I'm left disappointed. Sorry, I just can't get excited for a race where there's relatively so little passing, even in the rain. I feel bad for Ricciardo as the team screwed him out of a win, but congrats to Hamilton because he didn't really make any mistakes. Great drive by Perez, too!
A couple good videos and a nice picture. Ricciardo's post-race radio:

Nice pics and vids snaps, race was very boring. I feel for Ricci, twice now taken a straight win from him internally. That must hurt.

Again NR just showed again that he's only a "good weather driver" and can only win if everything is perfect and he has not to fight or work for it!
What a desaster losing 6th place on the last straight to the finish line, Mercedes should not continue to work with him after this very poor racing @Monaco.
Great drive from LH, he managed under these very bad circumstances (setup & tires) to hold off Daniel and made just one single mistake, but I feel sorry for DR he was on fire the whole WE and Lewis was the only one to match his speed in these days!

@ALDO
I'm not saying he's bad, but whit the same problems LH can still - with the support of RB - win a race, NR is being overtaken on the last meters of the event
This is what " separating the chaff from the wheat" and being a race winner or a real F1 champ!!

NR is to blame that he couldn´t manage the tires. As I have heard that was due to a bad setup. To be overtaken on the last meters without grip is like getting a ball through your legs but he had no weapon to defend his position anymore - a few more laps and he would end on 10th position or so.

Gladstone:Lord_Driftalot:Lewis was the only one to match his speed
The only way that Lewis matched his speed was by being in front of him and being very wide.
Nico had car problems; big deal. A change of luck for both Merc drivers. Seems fair enough.
The red bull was obviously quicker. Also LH should have let him by when he missed the corner out of the tunnel.

apias:Hamilton's win was a gift from heaven. And he should have had to give up the position to Ricciardo after cutting the chicane, because if he hadn't cut it, he probably would have crashed out, so he definitely gained an advantage.
That maybe a valid point. He was ahead though before it, interesting.

I'm pretty certain the same thing happened to Kimi in Spa once and he had to give up the position although he was ahead when he missed a chicane.
