    My prediction:

    1. LH

    2. MV

    3. VB

    ... SV crashed out

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

    4. CL

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

Qualifying time round 1,36-1,38, then race pace arround 1,44-1,46 in order to save tires...... Only thing that can save this race is two or three SC momentsyes

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

    LeClerc on Fire 🔥

hopefully we get another exciting race !

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

Hopefully LH will not back up against CL anymore!
And MV should as well give SV a hard time

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

Wow! Ferrari 1-2. Congrats to the team. Poor Leclerc. Perhaps they wanted to help Vettel get his confidence back.

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

I am happy for Vettel kiss

New kid Leclerc after winning a couple of races already has a sense of entitlement and expresses frustration with Ferrari strategy broken heart

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

very boring race...too many SC stops...they need to scrap that track, not fit for racing !!!!

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

I don't get how whatever Ferrari did was intended / guaranteed to advantage Vettel. I think it could have gone either way. If Leclerc had done slightly better laps while Vettel was in the pit, he would have come out ahead.

Happy for Vettel, but all the talking heads' claims that it was Ferrari's strategy that gave him the win are overdone (need to have dramatic stories to talk about), and detract from Vettel's win.

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

Seemed to be very few spectators yes I thought Singapore was reasonably well attended, but there were tons of empty seats in the grandstand opposite the pits.. Also seemed to be few people in the paddock club..

Agree, sore looser and massive sense of entitlement. He is a great driver but Get real buddy, and have some respect. Today he got done by strategy and he had first call on strategy so no need to be a cry baby

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

I agree. He should show a bit more modesty, after what he did to Vettel in Monza.

I agree, IMO, VET gaining such an advantage on this very lap was not predictable - at least, when watching LEC coming out of the pits ... and then, VET just avoided making mistakes later on ... I am so used to something VET is (negatively) doing / causing that I sat in my chair keeping fingers crossed up until he crossed the finishing line...something one never has to do with HAM (though I would have like him passing VER in the last lap..).

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

Bringing VET s car in before LEC made sure at 90% he would be in front after LEC ' s change of tire , as with fresh tire he would be able to do faster laps then LEC on worn tire . If that is not favoring him yes

It is the race, but clearly Ferrari wanted VET to be winning and chose the strategy in accordance

100% correct, Monaco has a special place in the calendar but they need to ditch this street circuit

I agree with the LeClerc comments, love watching  this kid drive but he bitches and moans a bit too much when he catches a bad break or the team make an error

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

You guys forget that these new drives are indeed still '' kids '' . At their age, with the life they have been living to get there , with the pressure and responsibilities they are carrying on their back , it is normal they are still bitching and moaning .  Wisdom comes only with time and maturity . Can't expect that at 21 . LEC wasn't even in age to drink  a few month ago .....

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

Also these guys (top F1 drivers in general) are brought up to be super competitive from an early age and do not take loss or setbacks well and have with a healthy dose of overconfidence to cope with the stress of competition and carry a certain level of entitlement, in other words, it makes them more successful drivers but they tend to be jerks at a personal level indecision

Worse is when they bring Vettel in they didn't tell Leclerc. He didn't know until too late to adjust him pace.

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

Guys, according to Sky Sports, and as said on the broadcast, the driver in the ,end gets first call on pitting, so LEC had that right. Secondly, you can’t seriously tell me that LEC’s crew (he has his own crew who are dedicated to him) didn’t tell him that VET pitted.  No chance. LEC got done by some vile and wisdom and good to see that works, as that is good for all of us as well!!!

    That's exactly what happened.

Someone was listening to the whole race radio traffic. It was never mentioned until after the fact.

If that is true, it was a really poor move from Ferrari.

    Josef:

Why?  F1 is about the team and not the drivers, up to a point.  Several of the team's sponsors are there because of Vettel so it is in the team's best interest to finally deliver him to the winner's podium.  LEC will have plenty of opportunities to build his brand equity, and his trophy case, with Ferrari over the next few years.

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

It is not about the team, it is about the number one driver of Ferrari winning even if LEC is better. LEC would defintely have won the race, Ferrari just did not allow it. LEC has more points than VET in the championchip... If VET is not able to win a race on his own, like LEC did the last two races, he should just leave Ferrari.

Re: 2019 Singapore F1 Grand Prix at Marina Bay

Sponsors want and need the results. They paid loads of money for that on VET.  Not so much on LEC.
The strategy was dictated by interest.
