For me it wouldn't matter how fast the 997S was, or how well it handled because the interior is a bust with me and I wouldn't buy one just for that reason.
Hey Dock, whats the X79 suspension you are talking about? is it the sport suspension for the 996 turbo? if yes, could you elaborate on how it works? ie does it reduce understeer?
